About Beauvale CaviesWe have always had guinea pigs around the house; and since my whole family is enthusiastic about cavies - I gave into my passion for guinea pigs and formally started breeding cavies. I began looking around for the perfect breeding stock and my husband started building more hutches - we've built a residential hutch for most of our ladies (Palace House); we have a four-story breeding hutch (Courtyard House), a two-story nursery (maternity) hutch (Pedestal House), a new extra large Olympic size hutch (Olympia House), and we've added a three-story, extra wide set of hutches in our giant wendy house - and completely refurbished the building with a skylight roof.
We now have twelve indoor double (or 24 single) hutches in our garage to keep our guinea pig family warm during the winter frost. I'm afraid that my husband has now totally surrendered his sanctuary! Our cavy family is growing all of the time and we have the joy of producing lovable, quality pure breed Teddy and pure breed (extra cuddly) Swiss guinea pigs.
